During my recent stay at an apartment above a café in Mikulov, I appreciated the thoughtful blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. The room was clean and featured surprisingly comfortable mattresses, which is often a rarity in budget accommodations. The location, right on the main square, offered easy access to explore the town. Breakfast was served in a lovely setting, with a decent variety for those who are not too particular about their dietary preferences. The café downstairs had a nice vibe, though I found the wine selection to be average. If you're looking for an authentic wine-tasting experience, I recommend visiting Bar U Čápa instead. The staff were welcoming and eager to share insights about the local culture, enhancing the overall experience. It was a pleasant stay with a rich breakfast and a good location, making it suitable for travelers seeking comfort in a historic setting.
